At the height of a busy Christmas season last year, the management and staff of Manong Pepe took time off to be with more than 40 streetchildren under the supervision of the He Cares Foundation. This foundation houses street children who are homeless or who have no caregivers.

Caring for Street Children

Manong Pepe’s leaders, managers and staff were treated to the children’s song and dance numbers, before everyone shared a Christmas meal of Manong Pepe’s delicious food.

The streetchildren were also delighted to receive their gifts from Manong Pepe, while the foundation received some useful appliances and other things for the children’s daily care like pillows and blankets and educational videos. In return, the children presented the Manong Pepe team with a beautifully written thank you letter.
