Jollibee Foundation supports fun run events to help feed Public School Children
In photo: Jollibee Foundation recognizes the BLT pupils who participated in the “Run to Feed” held last February 26. These students won in the 3k male and female divisions – are all from San Diego Elementary School in Quezon City.
Jollibee Foundation supported two recently concluded Fun Run events that raised funds for public school feeding.
Ateneo de Manila University, through the Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED) hosted “Run to Feed” to raise money, support, and awareness of ACED’s efforts toward public school development, particularly its feeding programs in public elementary schools, which include schools in Quezon City, Parañaque, Valenzuela, and Bacnotan (La Union). ACED is Jollibee Foundation’s partner for the “Busog, Lusog, Talino” (BLT) school feeding program. BLT schools also showed their support in this very worthy cause, as shown by the students from different public schools in Quezon City, Valenzuela and Paranaque City who ran in the 3k category.
In an effort to help raise awareness and encourage more support from the community, San Pedro College of Davao and its Community Extension Service team hosted a fun run event to help ensure the continuity of the BLT school feeding program in its 2nd and 3rd year of implementation among three BLT schools in Davao City.
